Why Palitra exists

Palitra Bio helps cancer patients who want rigorous personalization before their next treatment decision by testing rational therapeutic options against their own tumor cells. For rare cancers, uncertain outlooks, or exhausted standard of care, a PhD data team and an MD tumor board synthesize maximalist functional testing into a clear treatment-guiding strategy.

Mark Stevens spent 15 years building Travera's live-cell measurement technology, serving as CEO before founding Palitra. He started Palitra to close the gap he saw from inside the lab: patients need more than a single test result — they need a strategy for which functional tests fit their cancer, an expert synthesis of the results, and help delivering the findings into their actual care.
