Why Musella exists
The Musella Foundation provides support and advocacy for brain tumor patients. It is for patients and families navigating a brain tumor diagnosis who want an organization focused on their specific disease and an advocate working on their behalf. Disease-specific support matters because brain tumors raise questions that general cancer resources may not cover in the depth patients need.
- 1
Start with patient navigation
Patients get started through the foundation's patient navigation program online or by calling 888-295-4740. The program is offered through the Brain Cancer Support and Solutions Alliance, formed by the Musella Foundation, Cancer Commons, and Head For The Cure.
- 2
Records review
The navigation and science teams evaluate the patient's medical records.
- 3
Identify and access options
The teams use that information to help the patient identify and access diagnostic and treatment options.
